The Difference Between Blocking and Muting

I don't block for a couple of reasons. One, I think it's just pointlessly aggressive to me. And then the other reason I don't block people I mute instead is because sometimes I get the feeling that they would take great satisfaction out of getting blocked. There's a very warm glow knowing that they're like still screaming into the void and they don't know that you can't hear them. It's like, oh, we've black mirrored them. You just don't exist in my world. So that's my policy for not blocking.
