Do You Remove Your Third Molars Before Orthodontic Surgery?

"There's really two right answers and one wrong answer," says dentist. "In my experience, I have not had a problem with removing third molars at the time of surgery" If you've had your third molars removed a month before surgery, he says, just go ahead; it won't be an issue. The data in his experience will tell you you have a little bit higher risk of like lingual plate fractures but that tends to not be an issue now.
