How to Put Things Together That Don't Go Together

I think that a big part of making discoveries is putting to ther desperate things. The ability to put together disperate ingsis an important part of the creative scientific process. And they have to sort of be available in your head exactly because they're not linked. They don't necessarily come up in an associative way, right? You got o you got to somehow have that creative urge that brings them up when they're not usually linked.
