Why Solar Isn't Getting Cheaper Than Nuclear?
Solar was getting cheaper around this time, but it doesn't strike me that like, you know, fundamentally as a technology, it was like producing electricity at like orders of magnitude, like cheaper than nuclear coal. Like, I guess otherwise we wouldn't have like another like 20 years in our story of solar getting cheap to be out for some fuels. Yeah. Well, this is getting into wonkiness here. But basically maybe the difference is what solar costs versus gas or coal to build. And so when solar comes in, if it's sunny, it's free. And so the price that solar would bid into market is basically zero. So these coal companies are competing with solar and all
