I wouldn't start anybody with Milton Friedman. I'd start simpler. And the money to people for nothing never works. Never makes sense when the environment is similar. As we enter the AIA singularity in the age of robots, we might have to rethink that giving money to somebody for nothing doesn't work. It might just not be enough jobs. We'll see.
