Theology and Revelation: A Playroom for the Real Work of Theology
Revelation and scripture are often dealt with by theologians as just the kind of forward to the real work of theology. Trouble is if you do just treat revelation as like the ladder to get you up into the actual playroom of Christian theology then it gets treated non-Christianly. So really what I want to do is to get ourselves a doctrine of scripture but I want to nestle it snugly in its context so that we don't distort it at all. And hopefully how that is will pan out that will all start making sense.
