Ucranians do not want to live under russia. They have lived under authoritarianism before. Liberal democracies are facing existential challenges. Ucranians chose, through democratic processes, not to any longer be a part of that. And they're committed to that path. I talked to some one recently here, a ucranian, who was saying, while you guys are all carried away and immersed in your culture wars, we're fighting for our way of life"
