The House Dems Are on Their Own for These Big Bits of Regular Business

Last night the republicans did not vote to fund the government. And here was senate majority leader chuk schumer in response: Our country is staring down the barrel of two totally republican manufactured disasters, a government shut down and a first devor default on the national debt. So democrats now are separating. To do fine, we will have a separate, clean vote on a continuing resolution to keep the government running past th Thursday midnight. We may see some of these votes actually come later to day or to morrow, but those dead lines are real and they're looming.
