The New Testament Has Mythic Elements
The new testament has mythic elements, it does, indeed. But much more than that, it's got these strange, er historicizing elements. And the church has stubbornly insisted upon that now here. Here's a next observation i'll make, as even as we affirm all that's good and right and true in the mythic approachquote your friend lewis,. one of the marks of of liberal theology is a tendency to see god as the deep, sort of background music of life.
