Ari Astra's Midsomar is a movie about a woman who goes on a trip with a bunch of men. They just kind of act like dudes around her, they're obnoxiously behaving in the way they want to behave. It replicates you so perfectly that it replicates your mental state right before the thing takes over you. And that's why I think this movie is a trans text.
