The Different Positions of Focus in Syntactic Marking

The focus is usually going to be the most prominent thing in a prosotic sentence. The topic is generally what's going to be what comes first before any of the other stuff. And then often it's either right before the verb or right after the verb, depending on whether it's S, S O V or S V O. You will get a focus slot typically.
