The Movies That Made Me

Lawrence of Arabia
The big parade is one of my favorite films ever. It sets the table for so many other films about World War I, even though it courses all shot in like Westwood and Griffith Park. John Gilbert character is sort of a floppy, you know, um, uh, guy from, a wealthy family. He falls in love with this woman and comes back as an amputee. The film also happened to be, it was the most profitable film of the silent era that made a huge amount of money. And what's incredible about the film is that you never feel like you're anywhere but France.
