What's Going on With COVID-19?
Staffing levels are unquestionably higher now within hospitals than they were in the year prior to the pandemic. But there's little sign that huge numbers of people are coming forward to join the NHS waiting list. And as we've heard, the NHS's problems can't be explained by demand alone. What is going on? I think a big part of the story has been the lingering effect of COVID-19.
