You don't need to be the best sales person in the world. Just get some basic selling skills and it can help you in so many areas, even job interviewing. And like Coder says, it's like the art of persuasion. That's what selling is. It's just persuading. Even just try it, like I said, try it for a year. And then if it's not for you, then you can quit, but you'll gain some skills.
