Is There a Golden Age of Theory in the Biosciences?
I think there's lots of good theory to be produced in nervou science and life sciences at the moment. The problem is that a lot of what, again, the scientific system is set up that you have to sort of shout to the world,. Its met s me all the time. And so people produce a theory that is self serving at the present. It's not targeted a deeper understanding of te phenomenon, but just self promotion. So were we're sort of flooded by this, and this will certainly be counterproductivei i'm dearing up to write a paper about the pernicious roll of shallow theory.
