I think that when you come into these institutions very driven at a young age say 13 like those are still very much your formative years and so if you're away from your parents especially you can look to your teachers almost as if they've had successful careers. Jamie came in as a figure who wasn't an authoritarian success story but someone who who became a principal that's very young and then sort of transitioned into something else that fit her needs more.
