How Did the Nazis Train the Germans?
The SS did not go through the army training structure. They created their own purpose bill Nazi training facilities. Training was also imbued with Nazi ideology, which taught those soldiers that they were racially superior and better than everyone else. So you've got about half a dozen divisions that were very, very good, thanks to that training regime.
