The Cost of Hepatitis C

There are two issues that both work in the favor of actually mounting this national program to eliminate the disease. One is there are methods that we can do to reduce the cost per patient. The other is to recognize that if we're really talking about the long term cost of Hepatitis C, we should be thinking about all of the medical consequences of not curing people. It would be very short-sighted to simply say, oh, well, it's going to cost a lot right now, so we can't do anything.
