Airbus' Common Type Rating for the 330 and 350
If that's true, I'm sure Airbus is working with the FAA to get that common rating for the 330 and 350 if it's already true in Europe. So the 330 and the 350 make sense because they are twin engine planes with the common standard Airbus cockpit. They are very different vintages, however. The A330 first flight was in 1992 in the A350 in 2013, more than 20 years later.
