How Data Teams Have Changed in the Industry

When I started ABO, a lot of people were skeptical of us targeting data as a buyer because they didn't have budget typically. But that has certainly changed so much just over the course of our lifespan, which is since early 2018. If you look at the modern data stack in the tools that companies used to get started, it takes four or five tools just to go from zero to a dashboard. And those are the things that allow data teams to have the budget and the headcount that they need to be effective.
