The Role of Stem Cells in the Treatment of Diabetes
The research is still in its early stages when you look at it from the metric of the clinic and actual treatments. But I would say in terms of understanding the basic biology of stem cells, a lot has happened. And some of it has been directly dependent on those cells that came out of embryos but also relied on those induced pluripotent stem cells.
