How Does Testosterone Work?

Mammals will go through a male puberty when testosterone rises again, and that's when testosterone further develops the reproductive system. It acts on the brain to up-regulate status consciousness, competitiveness, aggression, eventually libido,. That all comes online later, and especially sperm start being made. In the same way it acts on the body and secondary sex characteristics, like a deep voice or larger body size, enhanced muscle mass, that's all because males over evolutionary history compared to females benefit more from competition for mates.
