Darby's Contribution to Church History Is in Dispensationalism

In 18 27, darby had a serious horse riding accident caused him to be laid up for many, many months. During that time, he embarked on an intense study of the bible. He reached a few significant conclusions during that time. His main contribution to church history comes in his being the founder of dispensationalism. The hall mark of dispense aism is eschatology. Remember his conclusion that the church is in ruins.
