Is There a New Leg Lower in the US Dollar?
The spot VIX is about 17.6 expected to be losing the broad markets or about 1.1% and as you mentioned, we're seeing the lowest levels in the VIX in over a year. However, it's important to remember that when we look at the charts of the VIX and it bases at the lows, it typically breaks back to the highs pretty fast within a month or so. The US dollar broke to a new low post FOMC on Wednesday but hasn't reversed yet.
