The Will to Live Is the Force That Undergirds and Drives All Human Existence
Schopenhauer believed that the will to live was the force that undergirded and drove all human existence. And it is only by, it's only by being fully liberated from these drives that man can achieve anything close to what we might call peace. i think that is why this is a grey morning for nica, and why he brings up the cockrow of positivism. Positivism was the idea that the only worth while propositions about reality are those which can be proved by scientific experiment.
