I think it's the movie that you probably have to steep twice to sort of fully understand. You're dealing with a man who is remembering his marriage while he's dying in Vietnam and imagining a life with Jesse after the war. I was very anxious not to do movie where but could it was familiar because the imagery was familiar they would lack in fear or menace if you'd seen the imagery before.
