The End of the Empire
The sack of Rome is an enormous event in the fifth century because the walls of Rome hadn't been breached for a thousand years. She gets kind of beat up and then but she finds sanctuary in the church and dies of her injuries so some people in the early Roman marioeges considered her a martyr. There's a cool connection there with the sanctuary offered her and Augustine talks about the even the barbarians who are Aryan Christians allows the sanctuary of the churches and so I just thought I would talk about that because it's a kind of cool fact about the end of her life.
