The Constructivist View of Memory Retention

The constructivist view is this idea that memories are constructed at the time of retrieval, right? Or there's some part of it is this rejection of an overly simplistic idea of retrieval. This idea that lots of things can have an effect on how it is you remember a past event. And I'm fully in support of that. So it's wrong to think that memories are just, you know, that retrieval is kind of like a neutral window.
