Skeptics often say that pre-enlightenment people were just gullible and believed anything. This is not the case, according to Bible scholar Craig Kingner who says ancient historians did not a priori decide all claims of paranormal events to be either authentic or inauthentic. So this suggestion that you know everything before the scientific revolution the enlightenment was just a bunch of gullible people who believe anything just is not historically accurate.
