What if the Merry Celeste Was a Ghost Ship?

Gary: I always thought the Merry Celeste was like a ghost ship where, you know, there's another one and it would show up and people would see it. And they would be like, Oh my God, what's wrong with the ship? Gary: There's also ghost ships that literally seemed to be there because they were there and they're not there. So why didn't these passengers end up anywhere? Why weren't they found near land? Because they could see land. They overestimated how much water it was taking on because they were going mad. That makes sense too. It's either that or it is like a rogue wave in that way where it just hit the ship
