Aidan: I think it's a really difficult question because from my perspective, one of the things I'm most passionate about is personal knowledge management. He says for people that aren't as invested in knowing how to manage information and keep track of their thoughts, there are an infinite number of things to learn. Aidan: There are so many cool things you can do but at the same time, that makes it that much easier to over-organize.

We talked about my dad's experience researching for his thesis and books as an undergraduate without modern-day notetaking tools, what makes researchers interested in their research, the conflict with freer form notetaking and publishing, and how to make your notes accessible to the general public as an academic.
