The Power of Short Fiction

The story is actually quite chilling in a way that is reminiscent of the tales of the brothers Grimm. It's chilling and it may not be an immersive story but it has a very important message. This is a story about the corrupting and destructive nature of greed. Many readers of course will be reading this short story as a supplement to their big read, their big Tolstoy read at the hardcore literature book club War and Peace or Anna Karenina.
