Diane Abbott's Letter to the Labour MPs
The British ambassador to Sudan wasn't in the country at the point where evacuation of other diplomats took place. I think it's a shame and a sense that it happened like that because it's always best to have your leader on the ground in a crisis. We should say that Diane Abbott has apologised wholeheartedly, but as things stand, she sits as an independent MP. But if that remains the case in the countdown to the next election, what happens then to Labour find themselves putting somebody in the face?
