The rope is never mentioned explicitly, but it is this theme sort of carried through with Nawi. How do you put an action scene on the page and how much comes up from a choreographer? That's much harder for me than writing a scene that will be emotional for the actors. I just kept looking for historical references of these forts and what was there to be used.
