Jury commissioner: "I was struck by how stressful I guess I found the responsibility of sitting there in the box and thinking, I'm going to have to decide who wins this case" He says it's been a very troubling problem for probably long before he became jury commissioner. The letter that means the most to me that I've gotten over the years was from a gentleman who wrote to me about his experience as a convicted felon.

“What we ask jurors to do is to just absorb all this trauma and just to keep on absorbing it and not process it with anyone. Just hold it in and hold it in and hold it in.” A look at what happens during and after a trial – and how some courts are trying to help jurors.
