The Godkin Lecture at Harvard
C p snow was a high ranking scientist in the british government during the second world war, then a best selling novelist. His lecture was so long it had to be broken up over three days and was broadcast alive on television. He devotes fully half of his speech to one person, someone whom i'm guessing few americans had ever heard of. Frederick a lindeman, born april fifth 18 86, died july third 19 57. Otherwise kown as lord cherwell.
