Super mario cart is one of the rare ones where i actually prefer the 64 version, just because you can play at four players. I remember like, 90 % of the damage being done with the shells, y just pegging each other with the shells. Like we used to make tournaments, like you'd make a bracket and play like a little minnie tournament out with it. And then if two of your own characters matched up, then you just got to pick, by default, who got to go through. We were nerds, but tatis, like the mok. Sometimes i don't feel like thi cane gets the credit that it deserves.
