The Fuse Box Turned All the Lights Off in the Apartment Building
Police immediately believe that this is connected to the murder itself. The victim's apartment was on the second floor of a building with at least three floors. By cutting out the power so there's no lights, it gives her no way of knowing if somebody knocked on the door and then she went to see who it was. She would have no way of seeing out of her peephole. It seems like a targeted victim to me.
