Anderson Cooper's Racist Characterization of a Police Officer

CNN anchor Caitlyn Collins called Donald Trump a "thug" for calling police officer who shot protester Ashley Babbitt 'a thug' CNN's John Avlon says that was an unfair characterization of what happened. He said the man in question had a checkered record and left his loaded gun in a Capitol bathroom, but he wasn't cited or charged with any crime. The Republican presidential field is now down to five candidates: Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Carly Fiorina and Chris Christie.
