Rent is a musical about being an early nineties theatre kid. The film was finished after jonathan larson's untimely death. There are some really good performers, both with broadway experience and non broadway experience. All these people who have all this experience on broadway crop up in this movie,. Sometimes nd in big parts, sometimes in cameos. Some of the songs i grew th you work don't work for me. But ultimately it lands on garfield.
