Quixotic is an adjective, and it means sort of with all the characteristics of Donkyo-ty. So in Castilian Spanish, which is like Madrid, you would pronounce it Quixote, and it's got a J in it. But certain parts of Spain, they take the J and they replace it with an X. It could be a J, but or an X, which is why Quixote and Quixote were created.
