The Star Garden Topless Dive Bar Votes to Join the Actors Equity Association
Dancers at the Star Garden Topless Dive Bar in Los Angeles have voted to become the only unionized strippers in the US. The National Labor Relations Board announced that the employees at the strip club voted 17 to 0. "This is an opportunity for the people themselves to get together and have somewhat of a collective bargaining agreement," says Pando IQ host Chad Griffin. If you can go to a strip club that's unionized, I think it's a great retention tool, he adds.
