Type Panel Based Open Sharing - What's the Point of the Panel?

When I was new to this stuff, and you really, if you're really trying to figure things out and you go on a forum and there's a bunch of people who say, well, I'm mistyped. And so it speaks to the whole orientation and purpose of the Enneagram where, you know, is it a way to put a label on oneself and feel kind of either comfortable or narcissistically indulgent about who they think they are through the lens of this type?
