The road is perhaps a good entry placeis because you have a bit more to hold on to with this dialogue between the father and son, which youre a lot more relatable. To dive into any of the other of mc carthy's novels, he is consistently trying to move away from thisc things are described concretely, but you still feel that you're just sort of immersed in a place. You think, where are we going? What? Where? Wheaether? Where the hell am i? No, that's why his writing is so powerful.
