The Importance of Location in a Film
The film takes place in three basic locations, in three different chapters. In chapter one, the location is the real world life of Carl and Yaya. The second chapter is set on a cruise ship. This is where we start. And as we've talked about, in each place that we go, inside of that general location of their real world lives, we get the most value out of every location, filmically.
