The State of AI and Health
The UK is pretty good at AI but hasn't really made any effort to make the health care professions broadly defined familiar or effectively utilize these tools. There seems to be a massive gap between how we educate doctors and their ability to understand, contribute to, or utilize some of these interesting algorithms for better outputs. And so that's a huge educational gap. I don't know how we're going to fix that. It would be nice to get computers to work inside the NHS.
