The Importance of Conversation in Story Point Analysis

The thing that I always hear though when we talk about story points is. It's important. Well if you put aside the whole velocity conversation for a bit. The actual numbers are important but it's the analysis behind figuring out how this thing will be done and all that that's the more important part. You know in the greatest scheme of things complexity just does not matter, at least in my experience anyway.
