The Most Dangerous Game
In the 1980s, a group of men decided to play what is now known as paintball. They used CO2 powered guns and paint pellets that are typically used to mark sheep and trees but they're innovating here. The game was so popular it spawned its own franchise called National Survival Games. In 1988, Bob Guernsey founded the company which made over $10 million in annual sales. That would be about $25.9 million today.
