I think it's so typical of Lewis that he would think of animals in this chapter. He has such a tremendous identification with animals. Aros is distinguished from Venus, he says. You should just be sexual. But aros would be that dynamic of people expressing fulfillment of one's need to each other. It's mutual. Storgay goes off the rails when it drifts towards the need to be needed. And if you don't, I'm going to make life miserable for you. So, storgay and filia are essential to a good marriage.
