The Early Farmers of the Aegean May Have Adopted the Farming Lifestyle
Around the iron gates of the Danube River, a narrow but easily accessible gorge, there were a ton of Mesolithic people. They lived there in semi-permanent settlements to exploit the abundant river resources. The people living at Lipensky-Viet after about 6000 BC kept fishing as they had before,. But they adopted new tools and pottery from incoming farmers.
